Sutton's Haven Fair Trade Boutique

Why choose fair trade?

At it’s core, fair trade is about paying producers a fair wage for the work they do. Many businesses strive to do this by creating direct trading relationships with cooperatives and communities around the world. There are also various organizations that encourage specific fair trade standards and either certify or offer membership to fair trade businesses.

Senteurs D'Angkor and Hibu

Sutton's Haven in is privileged to be a retailer for Senteur D'Angkor and Hibu, world class imports from Cambodia. Their story is inspiring and their products are absolutely glorious.

Stunning throws, scarves and blankets handcrafted at fair trade facilities in Cambodia. Each of the raw materials used are handmade by these very talented artisans … from the threads and dyes used to weave the soft and supple fabrics to the final embellishments adorning each piece.

Kampot Pepper

A wonderful surprise and delight for the tastebuds.  A salty green pepper, crusted in sea salt.

Virgin Hill Coffee

(Velouté) A blend inspired by the City of Knowlton, located on the shores of beautiful Brome Lake in Quebec's Eastern Townships. The Knowlton mix was created as a result of an error. While we were doing a taste test in a local coffee shop, two mixtures to be tested separately were mistakenly matched; which has since given birth to the Knowlton mix. Knowlton Coffee is a blend of some of the best Indonesian and African coffees. This blend offers a remarkable aroma and a fruity final taste. Rich in flavour and aroma with a lot of acidity.
